In his Counterpoint program, Secretary Salvador Panelo mentioned again the Rody Duterte and Sara Duterte Tandem in the next election. And if the two run becomes a reality, Panelo said that the opposition will be defeated severely. The secretary also assured that the President will end his term.

“Gusto ko itong Presidenteng ito tumakbong bise presidente, sa kanyang tatakbo o pinatatakbo rin na anak na si Mayor Sara Duterte na presidente. ‘Di po ba ang ganda, Duterte-Duterte, oh wala na. Patay ang oposisyon kapag tumakbo itong dalawang ito. Ginawa na nila iyan sa Davao. Mayor si Presidente Duterte at ang Vice Mayor niya ay ‘yung anak niyang si Mayor Sara Duterte. Maniwala ba kayo na noong nagtandem yung dalawa, wala ng tumakbo. Ganoon katindi kalakas,” according to Panelo.
