Vice President Leni Robredo proposed the implementation of face-to-face classes in small classes in areas where there is no COVID-19 transmission.
According to Robredo, ₱ 4 billion for distance learning approved under Bayanihan 2 is small.
The Vice President added, do not insist on the modular at all if the parents only spend.
Under distance learning, students and teachers will need a laptop, internet connection and spend on printed modules. He said, even with a pandemic, the quality of education should not be sacrificed just because of the lack of access to blended learning.
