The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is in contact with actress Angel Locsin in connection with the alleged threat to her life. According to NBI-PIO Chief Nick Suarez, the Cybercrime Division is already referring to the actress' call on her Instagram account. “The concern of Ms. Angel Locsin has been referred to the Cybercrimes Division and the CCD is now coordinating with Ms. Locsin ”according to the text message of NBI-PIO Chief. It will be recalled that the issue took root in a tweet by a netizen and Locsin informed the NBI of this incident using Twitter as well.
“Are you one of the supporters of President Duterte and GMA? Pwes, I will give you 200-million to any Duterte and GMA supporters who can kill Kim Chiu, Coco Marin and Angel Locsin. You can join the NPA to blow up the ABS-CBN Compound, ”according to a post by an NJ Abellanosa. The actress answered it and said “Hello, NBI? Beke nemen po .. ”where the actress shared her screenshot of the said post on her IG account.
According to the NBI-PIO Chief, so far no one has approached the NBI actor or even Locsin. “The NBI takes seriously any threats made against any person. If Angel Locsin and other artists receive threats of physical harm or other means sent thru the social media and they feel these threats are serious, they have all the right to seek the assistance of the NBI so their concerns can be appropriately addressed. ” according to Suarez.
